  Well, the Japanese weren't first with Hollow spoke technology. Most
diehard Porsche enthusiasts know that all 911 Turbos since '96 which means
993 & 996 Turbos come with Hollow spoke wheels. They are known as Technology
wheels but the regular cars could also be delivered with Technology look
wheels that look mostly the same with slight visual differences so you need
to check the part #'s. I think some Boxters and 911's were also available
with the Hollowspokes as a option.  MGH
