Bob:  I checked out the ebay add and see that "alpha-bid" probably has a
 duty-free warehouse in both the Vancouver area and just across the
ed to be Ron's Parts) does business.  They bring things in from the US or   
Europe and warehouse them duty free until they are shipped to   
wherever.  I looked for the profile on "alpha-bid" but there were no
 details.

The only thing I think this tool does is count the "blinks" and display the
 results.  Its not a VAG 1551 or 1552 for sure.  I think you can cancel the
 CEL by pulling the ECU fuse for a while as well.
