Robert, you should send the short one back to Samco, last time I checked with them they said they would honor replacement of defective hose. The initial Michelin man hoses where too short, they've since corrected and now make the right length. 

Mistakes can still happen though, remember these are all hand made!

Be careful with the crossover to intercooler hose, aka Michelin man. The  one 
that I received was about 3/4 of an inch too short. I had an MTM hose  
currently on, and kept the Samco as a spare. When I finally decided to change  it, I 
was lucky enough to be at my garage.
