Not to bash the Stromung, but don't forget there have been a few flaws
discovered. First, they've been using 2 1/2 inch mufflers with 3 inch pipe welded
over it... with no transition. Sit in Stromung equipped car's back seat
sometime and listen to the full throttle whistle similar to that of a 70's big block
station wagon wheezing through a tiny muffler. Second, the downpipe uses a
very poor wastegate pipe design that re-enters the downpipe perpindicular to
the main exhaust flow. That's a well documented no-no, known to cause power
loss. Finally, several folks have had downpipe weld failures. While I've never
done or heard of anyone doing back to back tests, I'd be willing to bet the
stock system outperforms the Stromung... even though it doesn't sound cool.
