[s-cars] S 2 project / badge engineering?

Hi folks,
As some of you may know Pete has been putting togather a Series 2 Coupe Quattro with the addition of an AAN engine from a 93 S 4. Suspension bushings, camber adjusters, new ball joints and a set of Bilsteins with stock springs. Very nice indeed with the smoothness you'd expect from this set up. Absolutley drives like a dream. Lotsa power yet smooth as silk; very nicely balanced indeed.

Question though; given the fact that this a car was bult in Europe as the S 2 which perhaps adds a little legitamcy, am I infringing on badge engineering by locating a front and rear S 2 emblem and placing them correctly? We have replaced the original Coupe Q hood / lights with those  from a  95 90, as well as a very nice S 2 steering wheel from Mike D ( thanks Mike ). Otherwise the car is stock.
