[s-cars] Car stereo blues & installing an Ipod

The V8 Bose components are just the front door speaker enclosures and
the self-immolating rear deck units. The connectors on the back of the
head unit are a VAG-family standard. I bought VW adapter plug to put a
Sony head in my non-Blose avant and spliced it to the head unit plug wires.
The so-called Bose head in my V8 and my 200q20v are Audi standard
Gammas with silkscreened badge-engineering.
This looks like the kit that connects the 3 plugs for the back of the
VAG radios:

That Pac adapter looks more like the connectors in my Durmax 3/4 ton
diesel whale.
