I have not seen spec's on the new VW I5, but here is more information.

[Start Excerpts]

From

The Jetta V will initially be offered early next year with an all-new 2.5l
inline-5 cylinder derived from the V10 Lamborghini Gallardo engine. This
engine will essentially be replacing the existing 2.0l 4-cylinder as the
new base engine. Volkswagen says the new 2.5l inline-5 will make 150hp and
168 lb-ft. of torque and will be mated to either the MQ250 five-speed
transmission or the butter smooth Aisin built six-speed tiptronic
automatic. Volkswagen tells us the 2.5l inline-5 has been "detuned" to
150hp for a base engine configuration but is capable of a bit more
horsepower, so there is plenty of room to grow with this new engine.

talking about the Lambo V10:

The construction technology is obviously all aluminium.

In summary: - concept: V10 90deg., 4V, crankpin offset 18deg, integrated
liners with eutectic alloy
- capacity: 5 litre, bore 82.5 mm, stroke 92.8 mm
- timing system: DOHC chain driven, continuously Variable inlet and exhaust

Valve Timing
- inlet system: Variable Geometry
- exhaust system: two separated banks with two "5 in 1" exhaust manifolds
- ignition system: individual coils directly mounted on each spark plug
- engine electronic management: Lamborghini LIE
- lubrication system: dry sump
- max power 500 hp (368 Kw) at 7800 rpm
- max torque 510 Nm at 4500 rpm

talking about VW's new Inline 5:

the engine block is derived from the 2.0 aeg(and like) engine except it has
much better pcv system, if you pull the dipstick at idle....theres vacume
in the cranckcase. The valvetrain looks scary to me with all the roller
bearings and lash adjusters but otherwise it still has that audi I5 noise
to it, and a cool drain on the oil filter( actually a special tool with a
long hose)

[End Excerpts]

So, if it is like the Lambo V10, we have our familiar VW bore of 82.5 and
stroke of 92.8 with 5 cylinders giving 2480cc.
