I replaced the coolant last fall, so yes, somewhat recently.  
Thanks for the suggestion -- an air bubble sounds like a probable cause.  
I can't seem to find anything in the archives about bleeding any air out
of the system though.  

Can anyone suggest where the top (gravity-wise) of the system is, and
the easist way to bleed it?
