[s-cars] OBD question

All this talk about OBD had got me thinking. I have a Canadian '96 S6. In NH 
they are going to be doing OBD II scanning instead of emissions testing 
soon. (if you throw a code you fail) Of course that applies to all cars '96 
and newer. So when they insist to scan my vehicle because it is a '96, yet I 
have OBD I what do I do?  Just trying to get my info straight so when it 
happens I am prepared. I think NH is going to start rolling out the scanning 
in April.
