Hi Kevin:
I have not dorked around with the heater valve on my //S but on my 5K the
lever for opening the valve was vacuum actuated and was external so you
could move it by hand. Have you tried moving it by hand and/or applying
vacuum from a different source (might vac, e.g.) to see if flow/warm air
increases.
On a related subject, I hat the CC in the (perhaps only my) //S. Recirc
button only works when compressor is kicking on. Huh!!?? Output air temp
drops when presumably the preset temp is reached in the cabin. I would much
prefer the temp to be toasty warm and the blower to slow down. Mind you I
rarely use the Auto function but...
Thanks for listening.
Regards,
Mark

Thanks Abhijit. That's what I did when I changed the coolant.
Is there another method?
Has anyone had any problems with plugged heater cores? I really don't
want to think about having to replace it...
