Try this:

When you put in the search term, also type "
+audifans.com/pipermail/quattro", or whatever particular mailing list you
want to search.  This will for whatever reason get you the new stuff.

So, you can search using:

+audifans.com/pipermail/quattro
+audifans.com/pipermail/200q20v
+audifans.com/pipermail/ s-car-list

etc.

This may get you everything Google has added up to its last crawl, whenever
that was. In quick testing I have yet been able to find anything posted in
2005. I was able to search and find posts from as late as October 2004, but
nothing later than that.
