Considering that you weren't testing the fogs in fog, heavy rain,
heavy snow or similar conditions, how can you state that Daniel is
wrong?

In really bad weather conditions, even low beams are detrimental to
visibility- last winter, I kept wishing that I could turn off the low
beams and just run the fogs on our A4- the projector lows gave so much
glare that I was almost better off not using any lights (it was
snowing heavily on a lit highway).

Fortunately, conditions like this do not occur often in the areas I
drive, otherwise I'd have the ion crystal JDM STi fogs.

I strongly prefer yellow fogs- they seem to work better, at least to
my eyes, although you need to be able to turn off everything else to
get maximum benefit during those times that you really NEED fogs.
