Note also that the inner sunroof shade needs to be closed during heavy rain
(or in the car wash!)  It provides part of the channeling of the water that
gets through the seal.  Otherwise, it will drip on the seats (or on you.)

Some touchless automatic carwashes tend to force a lot of water thorough the
sunroof seal when they spray straight down from overhead.  I learned by
experiance to make sure the shade is closed!
