[s-cars] 80% sunroof reversal

With spring on it's way, I'm going to have to start thinking about the 80%
sunroof reversal problem when closing again!
It does not seem to be a dirty potentiometer problem--had that problem (the
random opening sunroof) and fixed it.
Seens like it senses the extra load when it "grabs" the sunshade while
closing and "thinks" something has jammed it (or someone has stuck their
fingers in there!) and it reverses and opens again.
The 80% reversal only happens when the sunshade is fully retracted (by
opening the roof all the way), and only happens when closing the roof with
the control.
When closing the roof with the key in the door lock, the 80% reversal never
happens, leading me to believe the "finger sensor" circuit is overridden by
the "close all windows" signal. Besides, if you are turning the key in the
door lock, you certainly don't have your hand stuck through the roof
opening, right? :-)
Is there a sensitivity adjustment for the auto-reverse mechanism? My garage
door opener has such an adjustment!
If my roof is requiring more force than normal to close, there may be no
margin left for the additional load of the interior sunshade. Is there a
maintenance procuedure for cleaning/lubricating the sunroom mechanism in
general?
