Is this true for both the pre-95.5 cars with the locking diff feature
and the post-95.5 cars with the Quattro IV w/EDL system?

I seem to remember reading that the torsen diff (V8) was more beneficial
to the post-95.5 cars than the earlier models. I could be thinking of
something else though.
