Chris-

I'll leave it to (seemingly dearly departed) Torsen Boy or Super Keith
Maddock (Mr. TRW himself) to give the technonerd explanation 8-).

My version? Similar to a LSD rear end, to ability to put power down to
rear wheels better whilst cornering (inside wheel lift affects power
distribution of diff). Power car through corner with more optimized
rear end traction.

It would make sense this coupled with a reasonable RSB would benefit our
cars verrrrrrrrrry well. Our cars that are driven 'normally' that is
(my definition of normal that is). Realistically 99% of 'normal' people
will not notice nor utilize the benefit. I've never been called normal.
And I will certainly exploit its benefits, that much is sure as sunrise.
Too bad a RSB is not in my realistic future, darn it.

-Paul

I know this has been rehashed several times BUTTTT

What exactly do you gain by changing the diff?

I have two 93 S4's and would love to know how the car would
change/improve with a different diff.

Chris
Double The S4 fun quadruple the cost? ;-)
