[s-cars] Fuel Pump Woes!!!! HELP...

Levent, 

I am, as yet, still learning but being that the pumps are intank, a
full tank of fuel should have no problem being picked up even if the
feed was slightly above the bottom. I don't understand how your mech
is saying it won't work in these conditions. I need to buy a Bentley
or something to learn the diagrams!

Also, have you thought of the problem being the fuel pressure
regulator diaphragm? I know when it springs a leak, you are bound to
have hard starts due to fuel seepage.
