Here's what I did. Bought the springs from Alexander van Gerbig at
_www.euro-audi-parts.com_ (http://www.euro-audi-parts.com) on 19May04 for a total of
US$520.75 - more than what I paid for the H&Rs. The H&Rs I had were #29921.
With the H&Rs the drop from stock on my 95.5 was 1.63 inches. With the euro
springs the drop from stock was 0.75 inches. The color code on the front
euros is Silver-Pink-Pink. I didn't write down the color code on the rears and
its now snowing. With the euros and stock tires, 225/60-16s on Avus rims,
the fronts are 26.5" to fender lip and in the rear its about 27.25". With the
H&Rs I used the stock Boges, with the euros I went to Bilstein (taller
version not the short version). I like it - good luck.

Mark near Chicago being interrupted by daughter with IM capability - may
soon lose it!

How much do these euro sport springs go for? Where does one aquire
them? These sound like they might be a nice compromise.

thanks!

I was scraping on almost every speed bump. It was also a pain to get a jack
under it. But it did look great and handled well. However, after a year I
had enough and I got in on a group buy for euro sport springs (Audi). I
installed them with Bilsteins and yes the ride is higher and a bit more "floaty"
but no bottoming out problems whatsoever. The height is about 3/4" less than
the factory 95.5 height. I believe these springs were very close to the
factory 1992 springs.

 If you are - get a 911.

springs to me. They also said that they would only warranty them to the
original purchaser, which I'm not. So unless I can think of something creative, it
sounds like I'll need to buy new springs.
