[s-cars] Radio schematics?

Ok, WWOTS-while we're on the subject, what is the annoyingly loud popping
noise I get while forwarding through CD tracks? Doesn't happen all the time
and it's been this way for 4 years without getting worse! Another lister
reported similar loud pops while doing the same thing? Anyone? TIA,
