Yep!

The Audi dealers in Ottawa and Toronto here in Canada have told me on 
two seperate occasions at two sperate dealers that all they need is the 
serial number off the unit to look up it's security code (I now check 
when buying a new Audi that the radio code card is included).

In both cases niether one charged me any fee, though I did pull the unit 
from the dash myself and bring it in.  I was quoted around $20.00 CAD 
if I had wanted them to pull the unit from the dash if I recall 
correctly.

I was also told that if they had sold the car from that dealership or 
happend to have it on thier computer system, then they could look up 
the code from the VIN number, but I was never that lucky.

I should also mention that in both cases they were pretty careful about 
making sure I really owned the unit legal-like and had a good reason 
for needing the security code.
