 I've been dealing with this for some time with my coupe. So far here  is 
what I know. You need the mounting hardware from an S2 tranny, also the shift  
linkage from the S2, front halfshafts from S2, rear tail housing from S2, rear  
driveshaft from 4000s quattro (or you can have yours shortened, about $250), 
and  I think thats about it. I have a guy sourcing parts for me in europe right 
now.  I'll let you know what it ends up costing.
