The city lights on my C4 were not sufficient for road use. They were okay
for parking, but not ideal since they don't indicate the corner of the car.
Whoops!

The indicators are built into the C5 headlamp. Interestingly, I bought
separate white side markers for my C4 and they came with two way bulbs/bulb
holders. Wonder if this was a retail retrofit for the US market.

It's the latter. The 2 position and 3 position bulb holders are
interchangeable and the connection is made by a slide-on terminal that
attaches to the lip of the opening. Easy enough to retrofit now that I've
looked at it in the light of day.
