I saw a TV show (not sure which one) where they covered
just that.  First find the source of the leak.  Someone
can blow smoke from inside; they make smoke machines for
just that purpose, or light up a nice Macanudo.  You can
also tape (duct tape, packing tape, masking tape) the
panel gaps, then remove an inch at a time, drive down
the highway, and listen.

Once you have pinpointed the source, fix it.  They
showed some rubber rope that fits in the molded rubber
seal the pushes it out, sealing the gap.  You might
also be able to pry out the metal lip the seal fits on.
