Some pictures of that would be great.  So to take the bumper off in
the future, you'll need to loosen up a silicon joint at each end?

How is it held on?

Sounds quite promising - and a few extra hp should be able to be had
by tweaking the software a bit, I would imagine.  Have you been
running the same software the whole time yet, or running an optimised
(or semi-optimised) software calibration set for each major change?
