[s-cars] Super cheap FMIC

The bumper skin was fit over the bumper, and then I simply drilled and tapped a hole on each side of the aluminum bumper. The skin just slips over the bumper, snaps in as usual on the sides, and then 2 bolts secure it to the bumper. It's snug and secure.
The skin is held on to the bumper with some 2-sided tape, and some plastic brackets that are riveted to the aluminum bumper. You have to drill all the rivets out, top and bottom... and then release the tabs on the brackets that hold the skin on. The 2 sided tape doesn't really present a challenge... but releasing the brackets is a bit tough.
I've been using the same software throughout the process. After the IC was installed, I lost peak boost (cooler, denser... less volume) so had to adjust via the WG spring. The mixture also went leaner, which I adjusted with the FPR. Everything is working fine at this point.
I will try and come up with some pictures, but it will be awhile as I'm only in CO 2 weekends a month.
Take care,
Dave

So to take the bumper off in
the future, you'll need to loosen up a silicon joint at each end?

How is it held on?
Have you been
running the same software the whole time yet, or running an optimised
(or semi-optimised) software calibration set for each major change?
Thanks for the info Dave!
Cheers,
Keith
