Thanks for all the info and opinions.  Consensus seems to be that anodizing might have some pluses (more radiant heat) and minuses (less convective heat exchange) but the levels that we are talking are tiny and not likely measurable with normal equipment outside a controlled laboratory situation.

I just connected with a firm that does anodization and discussed the "issues".  Bottomline, they can do it, three to five day turnaround, minimum cost CDN$55 - max. likely CDN$75 (they need to see the unit).

So now its put up or shut up.  Or buy a can of Eastwood Radiator semi-gloss and mist a fine coat on the end tanks and the forward edge of the tubes (with the fins masked off).  Hmmm...what to do?

One last thought:  Where can I get a can of that military fuzzy black radar sucking stealth paint?  Adding a FMIC may "improve" my visibility to Officer Bob. (Hope not)
