Subject: [s-cars] Service Schedule
Does anyone know what the service schedule is like for the S6 at
around 90K miles? I don't have an owners manual and of course
AudiUSA.com says it has a schedule but won't tell me where, so I have
no idea where I'm at. The odometer flashes "1n .1" for about 20sec
when I first start it up. I'm assuming this means I'm due for a
scheduled maintenance. I'd just like to know what kind of maintenance
it is. Thanks.

Matt- I do believe after about 90k most always sees
the-prior-to-which-proud UrS owner experiencing and subsequently
addressing the following (not necessary in order, nor not necessarily
all encompassing, and to the chagrin of their respective spouses), shame
on me if I omit anything folks:
- timing belt failure
- timing belt tensioner failure
- water pump failure
- fuel pressure regulator failure
- fuel pump failure
- after run coolant pump failure
- spark plug failure
- coil failure
- power output stage failure
- spark plug boot failure
- o2 sensor failure
- inner control arm bushing failure
- outer control arm bushing failure
- subframe bushing failure
- ball joint failure
- sway bar bushing failure
- coolant expansion tank failure
- dash bulb failure
- driver seat heater failure
- cruise control failure
- power steering pump X plug failure
- brake bomb failure
- ignition switch failure
- starter braided cable failure
- steering rack boot failure
- a/c compressor failure
- clutch failure
- master cylinder failure
- slave cylinder failure
- master cylinder linkage failure
- fuel line failure
- driveshaft center support bearing failure
- driveshaft CV joint failure
- turbo hose failure
- bypass valve failure
- strut bearing failure
- strut top bushing failure
- wheel bearing failure
- CV boot failure
- failure failure
Not that I would know anything about any of those or a few others, now
at 149,999 miles. Nope not me. Nor my now expired Accel Warranty.
Only hope is to "Evan Desjardins" the car and sell it immediately. Yup.
