Bob,
FWIW my only SR issue was when the roof was not completely closed when the
switch was at 12 and 6 oclock.
For some reason it had skipped a couple of gear teeth (or as the great LL
called them "engagement pawls".)  (luv that kind of talk.)
If this is the issue, your legendary massive toolbox and an hours' time
should have this going again in no time.  I wound up closing the roof,
disengaging the gears (drop the box) getting the switch to 12 and 6 and
then, in popular Bentley style, assembling in the reverse of disassembly.
