Yup, I need to change glue... I had previously used J.B. weld... but it
didn't hold, so now I will try and use a epoxy to glue or plastic epoxy...
been through this before, didn't last, so here I go again...hopefully this
time I'll use the right glue.
Must say, that's not one of the car's finer points...

That sounds encouraging. Don't want to have to pull the sunroof assembly.
With regards to the your panel dropping, this is easily fixed with use of a
good high temp epoxy to glue the spring clip back in place. Be sure to
abrade the surfaces of the plastic panel before applying the epoxy. Also I
highly recommend removing and epoxying in the other clip while you're at it
as it is only a matter of time before that breaks also. If you haven't
taken care of it by S-Fest I have some excellent adhesive we can use to fix
it. You can just stuff the panel back in place and it'll hold for now, may
have to wedge a piece of folded paper on one side or small piece of tape.
