I should also add that if getting a repaired unit, never do a "Core
exchange", ALWAYS have the exact module from your car repaired and
returned to you.  This is because the software in the unit may be
specifically flashed in (actual logic section and/or the calibration
sections which are in some ABS units seperate) to match your exact
car.  Often all similar models (IE 2000 A4) will have the same ABS
controller part number, but get flashed with different calibrations at
the end of the production line to match the
engine/transmission/whatever combination on that car.
