[s-cars] Wheel offset question

The "correct" offset for a 17x8 is 35mm. I run a set with 38mm, and it works fine. However, the tire is very close to the steering arm. 43mm might be pushing your luck... and doesn't look as good, IMHO.

Hm..

According to http://www.urs4.com/technical/wheels.html I have 15x7.5 ET 40mm
The one's I'm looking for - 17x8 ET 43mm

What we have:
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 9mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 3mm

Pretty good arangement. Don't you think so?
