I also need to put a front plate on my '93 S4. It's passing on to the 
wife, as I just bought an '02 S6 for my daily driver. I've driven for 
20 years without one, 2 Audis and an RX7, but she's worried. I think it 
ruins the look of the front end of these cars. The dealer will happily 
sell me a bracket for only $89 ! My question is: shouldn't one from a 
100 from the same vintage work? The salvage yards around here are thick 
with them.
