Riff,
 I'd have to disagree with Chris on this one. Canada is great to drive  in 
and I have traveled 401 several times and always find some nice cars to sit  
with averaging 100+mph with no problems. Also the Canadians are a lot better at  
getting back over to the right after passing so you don't get as much  
congestion. There are cops but they are few and far between and usually unless  you 
being reckless they seem to leave you alone. Just be smart and put the radar  
detector in the glove box when you get to the border. Good  luck.

After driving the Canadian roads, and  getting my V1 confiscated I may
biased in my thoughts, but I suggest you  take the turnpike.
