If you take 90 it joins 80 in Ohio and becomes the Ohio turnpike, so you end
up on 80 anyway. Or you can take 84 to 81 to 80. Regardless of your exact
route, pack some Red Bull and travel at night. I drive from NYC (80 and Penn
Turnpike) to Ohio on a regular basis with my V1. ALL of my citations have
come during daylight hours. After midnight, Pennsylvania (313 miles on 80)
roads are quite free, year-of-car+ speeds are easy to maintain and
construction is not an issue. Turn it down a notch when you enter Ohio (187
miles to Toledo from Penn border, the rest is uncharted for me). As far as
the tow, my Geico ins. policy has an option to add towing for about
$10/year, yes its that cheap. Last time I had AAA it was over $100.
