[s-cars] Passat 4motion W8 wagon: Opinions?

Dave, aren't there ways around the state? I briefly read Mass laws and it 
seems that once a vehicle has 7500 miles on it you can still register a 
"newer" diesel vehicle, maybe NY is the same. I bet you can still buy a new 
diesel semi, farm, or "work" truck. Seeing how the only car makers that make 
diesel vehicles in the US are VW and MBZ, wouldn't their output be 
insignificant?
