Bob-
Your impressions of power, do you think it may have to do with the
difference in torque between the W8 and the chipped S6? I know the MRC
chipset is supposed to yield something like 320lb-ft. of torque,
that's a ton.

If you drove the standard suspension like I did (16" wheels and all),
brake dive is pretty bad- stiffer front springs as well as more
progressive brake pads would help a lot- Igor commented on the
touchiness of the brakes on the new A8 with the suspension set on
"dynamic."
