Speaking of diesel, the latest work is that Audi will have TDI cars in
the States by 2007.
CA and Northeast emissions are a major PITA. CA is getting to be too
unreasonable about things- they had to scrap the ZEV plan, I wonder if
the '08 regs. to which you refer will be implemented. The thing is,
the worst diesel polluters are heavy trucks- the ones already on the
road- new emissions regs. won't affect them one bit.
I'd love to see a TDI A4 quattro with a 6-speed manual- that would
make for a nice daily driver.
