[s-cars] short shaft

He he... gotta love the list... just jam packed full of great useful
high tech, state of the art and totally impractical ideas. And then
there are those that always step up and help out by generously offering
to kindly take the offending part off your hands;)
So, in keeping with the theme of totally impractical, what would be the
collective opinion of being able to merely bend this one inch of steel a
weenie little 15mm on each side. Can I bend steel with my bare hands?
Would I need a 10 meter breaker bar extension. What kind of torch would
I need to heat up the section to bend and how long ya think it needs
heating?
Or perhaps best; take it to a welding shop and have them do it?
What say ye?
Bill  faster than a speeding bullet; more powerful than a locomotive;
able to bend steel in his bare hands M.
