Subject: [s-cars] Any S-car experiences with the Alky Control injection
system?
Joey P. is pointing me to this:
http://home.att.net/~alkycontrol/page1.htm
as a cure for my on-going "370" pinging issues in high air density
Vancouver (NOT cured by my new Bosch 091G fuel pump (Rats!)).
According to Joey P., the PAC controller box that they sell with a GM
3.0 bar MAP sensor gives you all the adjustability you need. You can
control when it kicks on
and how progressive you want it to be at part throttle, as well
Joey P. says the alky control system is better (and cheaper) than the
Aquamist. Could be true. I just want to check on any BTDTs with
S-cars, i.e. using the windshield washer reservoir as the source, where
the injector nozzle gets placed (before or after the throttle body) etc.
