[s-cars] How about some wheels?

Yes and no one the SCCA AutoX. It's a local club that uses the SCCA
rules for competition. I realize the S4/S6 is hurting for its stock
class, but I'm not overly concerned about it. The club I run in is
more about having fun, but still competing (which of course is part of
the fun). We follow the SCCA rules but obivously are not a part of it.

I'm not planning on running any SCCA events because I know the car is
out matched unless I push everything to the limit of the rules in my
class. Even if its not, I rarely have the time and/or money to attend
said events as they're not enough local ones around.

I actually did compete last year a few times before my tie rod decided
to give up and eat away a side of my tires, so I'm well aware of the
transitions that are involved in a typical AutoX. And before the s-car
I drove my bros V-8 90 which is a whole different beast, but tons of
fun.

Also, looking at DOT Race tires (have been for awhile now), anyone
have any recommendations? I've got a few in mind, and it will probably
come down to price, but was just wondering what other peoples
experince with these cars have been with tires.

p.s. Just looked at the filler door, it does indeed have 245/40 17
listed...interesting. :) So what size (width) rim does that come out
to? I dont have a bentley available at the moment to look at details
either.
