The low brake pad warning works by sensing a loss in continuity in 
the circuit. There's a wire buried in the pad...when that wire is 
worn away by the rotor, the continuity is lost and the warning 
indicator does its thing.

You can bypass this by simply not connecting the connector to the 
brake pad and completing the circuit within the connector with a 
piece of wire and some tape.

Or, if this is a permanent thing, snip the connector off the wire 
and terminate it there. (I wouldn't do this).
