If you like having a manual transmission, IMHO, Tiptronic is a poor
substitute. I've driven a bunch of cars with a slushbox with manual
shifting and I still haven't found one that I can say I like the
transmission. Audi, BMW, MBZ, Volvo, Nissan, Infiniti, Dodge, VW,
Toyota, Acura, etc.

The allroad suspension can be modded through VAG-COM- I've seen
several allroads running at a ride height that looks like it's running
on lowering springs.

If you get the allroad, all of the S4tt and A6 2.7T tuning options are
available- easy 420hp given enough time and money.

If you decide on the C5 S6, I would definitely look at recoding the
transmission through VAG-COM at a minimum. Never drove one (they're
quite rare), can't tell you much more about that car.

If you need a wagon of that size, performance and AWD, that's pretty
much it for your options in Audiland. Depending on the price and
whether you like them or not, I would also suggest looking at a '04 or
newer Volvo V70R 6-speed. You might like it.
