My car makes so many noises, it's hard to remember what a throwout
bearing might sound like, but yeah, it's normal.
The brake feel would probably be better with different pads and SS
lines, which is what I'm sure your Avant has.
And the top end lack of oomph is easily solved with a manual boost
controller and a set of cams. These cars love high rpm silliness, you
just have to adjust fuel trim to let it not choke to death.
Pretty accurate review though, the car's a lot of fun, despite
ensuring a tour of every courthouse in the NY area to fight speeding
tickets. It's racism, I tell ya.
