The STi handles nothing like an Evo. The Evo is pretty awesome right
out of the box, the STi is not in the same league of handling.

I'm surprised that you thought the seats were snug- they fit me and
I'm a fat bastard. The seats in the STi are nowhere as supportive- I'm
considering getting some JDM v.8 or STi Recaros in the future because
my seats are not supportive enough (for hard cornering).

If you liked the power delivery in an Evo (which I think has too much
lag), you'll love the STi- far less lag, more midrange as well.

I thought the Evo has a pretty poor ride- way too jiggly for my taste,
definitely worse than the STi. The MR is supposed to have solved that
issue.

The best solution is to have a nice 6-speed RS2ed S6 Avant AND an Evo
in the garage. :-)

One last consideration- the Evo might have better insurance rates than
the STi- the Evo was cheaper when I was quoted.
