The 3 and 4 pin connectors have a small box inside the large connector
housing that has a simple tab release. Then the box just opens to
remove
the pins. The small paperclip works good when you have seen the barbs
you want to release outside the connector housing. It is not
difficult in a
well-lighted comfortable environment if you are not in a hurry and don't
have a tool crib. Patience and care with the plastic housing is the
key.
The release tool was used to gage the old pin size also. Handy, but
hard
to justify the price for a single use.
Perhaps I could get a tour of the TRW? tool crib sometime? :-)
Tom '95 S6, wishing for new tools.
