Don't know of many, if any on the Audi side of the motor.  Best place to
check would be with the high rpm VW 16v gti racer types. Although they're
only 4 cylinder, the individual cylinder design, along with many of the
parts etc. along with the technology and porting etc. are directly
interchangeable.  And, at least over here, there is a lot more VW 4 cyl 16v
racing lore, history and experience out there.
