WRT Idaho:

Last mid June my family and I did the 5 day middle fork of the salmon river
raft trip..   quite awesome and not a man made structure in sight for four
days.

I would say gheeze since your right there, grab your friends family,
neighbors and do it.

It's quite awesome and mid june was a good time since the water (last year)
was not too crazy and not to tame.

Earlier you go the wilder it would be and I think there was more snow this
year so maybe late june would be good. but then you're prolly a class VI
rapid kinda guy.
