[s-cars] WTB: S8

I've been preaching about Audis for a decade to a friend (also in real
estate) that has owned BMW's (currently 2nd X5, had the 1st one in WA), E46
M3 Convertible, 500SL, '67 Camaros, 928S, Lincoln Navigator (stolen from
SouthCenter Mall) & Dodge Ram truck.  He agrees with Eliot that the interior
of a current MB S-Class is plain & all the reliability rating of MB & the
S-class is abysmal for luxury cars.  He's 40 with a bad back due to an
accident he had when he was 16 in his souped up '67 Camaro & the X5 with the
sport package isn't helping it.  It's the back thing that's making him get
rid of the X5, so he's looking for comfortable seats.  The fact that the A8
has been on the top of the luxury cars over $45K for the last 3 years above
the BMW 7series/S-Class must mean something?  I tried to convince him on the
RS6, but he said it's too much car/expensive & is worried about the turbos &
it's only 6" smaller than the S8.  He doubts an owner of a S8 would've
thrashed the car around like a RS6 owner (unless they've seen Ronin) & the
complaints he's read on the RS6 is that the suspension is too stiff & owners
wished it had a push-button suspension adjusment like MB.  Stiff suspension
is bad for his back.  If anyone has a line on a S8, please let me know.  He
realizes it's a rare car & will go out of state to get one.

I've also been trying to get him to come to a ACNA/NW DE day too.  So if he
gets the car he'll come.
