[s-cars] mystery noise up front

I'm attempting to figure out a mystery noise coming from what sounds like the front passenger side wheel/axle area. I've recruited some friends to hang out of the car while driving to determine the exact location with no results. It sounds like a metal/clicking sound which seems to increase in frequency as the wheel increases speed.  
I've jacked the car up and spun the wheels manually, but the problem seems to exist only when the weight of the car is on the suspension. I've removed the brakes, looked for something hitting the inside of the wheel, but nothing. 
 
The only thing I can think of is a bad inner- CV joint.  What does a bad inner CV Joint sound like?
