Cv joints when they are dry or going bad do make a clicking sound. Last time i had that it turned out to be the locking wheel nut key behind the wheel nut cover doh!!

I've recruited some friends to hang out of the car while driving to determine the exact location with no results. It sounds like a metal/clicking sound which seems to increase in frequency as the wheel increases speed.
> I've jacked the car up and spun the wheels manually, but the problem seems to exist only when the weight of the car is on the suspension. I've removed the brakes, looked for something hitting the inside of the wheel, but nothing.
